IQM Flagship School
We are VERY proud to announce that Fourfields has once again been named a Flagship School for Inclusion following our assessment day last week! You can read the evaluation HERE which is extremely positive about the fabulous provision at our school.
My Voice
At Fourfields, we now have an anonymous reporting tool to allow parents or any members of the community to let us know if they are worried about a child. If you have concerns that a child you know, in our Fourfields Family, is at risk you can bring this to our attention by scanning the QR code here and completing the form. You can also use this form if you are concerned about an adult who may be a safeguarding risk to our school community.
Gardening Team News
We are very pleased to finally be able to announce that Fourfields Gardening Team were chosen as a finalist in The RHS Gardening Awards 2023! The school will receive £200 of gardening vouchers. The Judges said: “We were impressed by the scale of engagement in the gardening club. It really feels like the club is at the heart of the school. It was lovely to hear from different members of the Fourfields community, particularly the impact of gardening club from a parent’s perspective. Your links with the local community are fantastic and Mrs Warrener should also be commended for her dedication to the club over such a long period of time. Her commitment and enthusiasm really shine through – your children are very lucky!”

Great News!
We are proud to announce that Fourfields has been asked to become a pioneer school to raise the profile of wellbeing in schools by Teaching Times!
At Fourfields we believe we put the mental health and wellbeing of our children and staff at the heart of our school. The Raising Attainment through Wellbeing (RAW) programme has challenged us to identify areas of priority, offer powerful targeted support to impact on positive behaviour management and raise awareness of wellbeing across the whole school community.
We have appointed a full time member of the SLT to lead our Wellbeing and Mental Health initiatives and we are already seeing an impact on behaviour and achievement for our most vulnerable children.

Opal News
Thank you so much for all your generous donations for our mud kitchen! We are now very well supplied with pots, pans and utensils and the mud kitchen is already a much loved part of many children’s playtime.
We would now like to move onto collecting some different items to support our OPAL project.
For the next 2 weeks, our focus will be on role-play items and materials/fabrics. If you have any dressing up items such as hats, purses/handbags, jackets, coats, dresses, sunglasses, dressing up costumes that your children may have outgrown etc. we would be very grateful to receive them. For materials, we would appreciate a wide variety of things e.g. fabrics, bed sheets, old duvets, blankets, tarpaulin, old curtains etc.
From Monday 20th June, the donation box will continue to be placed outside the OPAL storage each morning until Friday 1st July. Thank you once again for your support, our children are so enjoying their playtimes and are now able to find new and interesting ways to be creative in their play.
